1/72 Caproni CA. 311/311M

The Ca.311 was projected as reconnaissance aircraft able to develop also missions as light bombardier and ground attack. The Italian company Officine Caproni realized their Ca. 310, then evolved in the Ca.311; the airplane, with elegant lines, was able to fly at 220 knots and was characterized by an almost entirely clear nose, particularly conceived for the better ground observation. Its armament was constituted from three 7,7 mm machine guns, one in ventral position , one in the Lanciani type revolving turret in dorsal position and one positioned on the left wing . The airplane was also able to transport up to 400 kilograms of bombs in the fuselage. The Ca.311 would have developed his missions from 1940 on all the war fronts: from northern Africa, to the Balkans and to Russia, recording also a certain success among the crews for his manageability and his reliability, despite the limited defensive armament and some problems about the reduced engines power. Several planes would have remained in service for training up to 1945, both with the Regia Aeronautica in the southern Italy and with the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana in the north.

1/72 A-6E Tram Intruder - Super Decal Sheet Included

The A-6 Intruder entered service in the mid-60s as ground attack carrier based aircraft to replace the outdated planes as the propeller-driven A-1 Skyraider and the A-3 Skywarrior. The Grumman Corporation developed and designed the A-6A, based on U.S. Navy specifications, a twin jet-engine all-weather medium attack aircraft able to operate from the American aircraft carriers. The so called “Intruder” was characterized by a sturdy and robust fuselage and for the two seats side by side cabin configuration for the pilot and the weapons officer. The A-6E was the definitive attack version of the ""Intruder"" improved in avionics and attack systems, in particular in the version named TRAM, from the acronym of the laser target designation system, that allowed to be more effective to perform “all weather” missions and to be more lethal in detection and suppression of enemy targets. Thanks to its hard points under the wing the A-6E Intruder was able to load an impressive offensive armament as conventional bombs, Paveway laserg-guided bombs, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, HARM anti-radar missiles. It actively participated either from ground bases or from the carriers of the U.S. Navy, to Desert Storm campaign combat missions.

1/24 Ford Escort RS1800 Mk.II

The Ford Escort Mk 2 was launched in 1975. It was a significant evolution compared to the Escort Mk 1 that debuted at Brussels Motor Show in January 1968. It used the reliable mechanical components as the Mk 1 but adopted a new design based on a squared-style look able to be in line with the aesthetic and stylistic taste of the 70s. The product range was wide, declined in three body styles (2 doors, 4 doors and 3 doors station wagon), five type of engines and a significant variety of settings and configurations. The Escort Mk 2 was mainly produced in the Ford Group German plants and achieved a good commercial success. 1/72 WWII El Alamein War Battleset

El Alamein is one of the most famous battles in the Second World War fought between the British forces, led by Lieutenant-General Bernard Law Montgomery, and the Axis forces, led by Field Marshall Erwin Rommel. After the penetration of the German and Italian Forces in Egypt, based on the precise goal to advance up to the Suez Canal, the British Army started to adopt a strategic plan based on the prevention of further enemy advancing toward the cities of Alexandria and Cairo. The Axis long supply lines and the lack of reinforcements, joined to the 8th Army superiority in men and vehicles, were the assumptions for the Montgomery’s great offensive successfully launched on 23rd October 1942 (codename Lightfoot). El Alamein was a turning point of the North African campaign bringing, in May 1943, to the Italian-German forces capitulation in Tunisia.
